Please join us on Thursday September 21 at 9 am to talk about permit work after flooding. Rebecca Pfeiffer will host a discussion on damage determinations, project review and permits.
Preliminary DFIRMs in Deerfield Watershed of Bennington County
FEMA has released updated flood data for the Deerfield River Watershed in Bennington County.
The data was posted as Preliminary on 7/17/2023. A Community Coordination Meeting will be held this fall.
The data was prepared using 2D Base Level Engineering and redelineation of existing detailed studies using topography from lidar.
The Preliminary Data will affect FIRM panels in Glastonbury, Readsboro, Searsburg, Stamford, Sunderland, and Woodford.

M 8/7 and T 8/8 Substantial Damage Estimations - Two Upcoming FEMA Trainings
Please join FEMA Region 1 staff for a 2-hour virtual Substantial Damage Estimate training. The goal is to prepare local officials with the tools needed to make Substantial Damage determinations in areas impacted by recent flooding.
