INTRODUCTION TO THE COMMUNITY RATING SYSTEM (CRS)
This two-day workshop will cover each series that comprises the Community Rating System (CRS). CRS recognizes and encourages community floodplain management activities that substantially reduce damage from flooding. Depending on level of participation in CRS, flood insurance premium rates for policy holders can be discounted up to 45 percent.
