Substantial Damage Training Session and Office Hours offered by FEMA this Week
Please join FEMA Region 1 staff for office hours and/or a 2-hour virtual Substantial Damage Estimate training. The goal of the office hours and training is to assist floodplain management staff at the community level as they work to perform substantial damage estimates and enforce their floodplain damage prevention regulations. The office hours are designed for community officials to call in and speak directly with FEMA staff on any issues they are experiencing related to implementing substantial damage or their floodplain regulations post-flood. The training session will be a 2-hour presentation with a question and answer session at the end.
