June 21 Climate Resilient Manufactured Housing Communities

Collaborating for Climate Resilient Manufactured Housing Communities Across Northern New England

You are invited to engage in key findings from a regional collaboration focused on Manufactured Housing Communities (MHCs) and climate-related hazards across the northern New England region.

Description: Manufactured housing communities (MHCs) are an important component of the rural housing landscape across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine yet face unique vulnerabilities to climate-related hazards. This virtual meeting will convene stakeholders across the region to 1) share key learnings about these communities across the area and 2) facilitate conversations with key stakeholders about best practices and priorities to support climate resilience for MHCs across the region. This effort is part of a grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Adaptation Partnership program awarded to an interdisciplinary team from the University of Maine, University of New Hampshire, and University of Vermont.
