The Massachusetts Flood Hazard Management Program will be providing free online training sessions for local officials on Substantial Improvement/Substantial Damage (SI/SD).

The dates of the free trainings are:
Tuesday, May 30th from 1:30 to 3:00 pm
Wednesday, May 31st from 10:00 to 11:30 am
Thursday, June 1st from 9:00 to 10:30 am

This 90-minute course includes immediate actions post-disaster; planning for post-disaster permitting; how to make substantial improvement (blue skies) and substantial damage (post-disaster) determinations; and community vs. homeowners responsibilities. There will be 1 CEU for CFMs.
