NFIP 101 is a free online training and/or reference guide for the NFIP now available from ASFPM at www.floods.org
NFIP 101 is available as a free course to provide a foundation in the NFIP program for new floodplain managers. The course requires registration and can prepare users for the exam to be a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). The course also can provide 12 Continuing Education Credits for current CFMs.
The other option: NFIP 101 as Reference Guide does not require registration and allows access to the materials al la carte as a reference guide. This is appropriate for more experienced Floodplain Administrators to refresh your knowledge on basic floodplain management tools, terms, and concepts.
