This month, we will focus on River Corridors.  River Corridors give streams room to move so that flooding can be less erosive and more gentle.  Both the state and many municipalities now have river corridor regulations in addition to FEMA floodplain regulations.  We'll look at maps and how protection of these areas may apply to development projects near you.

These Drop-In Discussions are strictly “live-on-Teams” and will not be recorded.   The discussions are intended to support the work of municipal officials who are responsible for floodplain and river corridor regulations, and/or are involved in the broader work of floodplain management.

If you have questions about the event, or using Teams, feel free to reach out to Patrick.Blanchard@vermont.gov

Future invitations to the Drop In Discussions will be posted to the Flood Resilience Listserv and also as News on www.floodready.vt.gov

Hope to see you there!

Sacha
