- Discovery for the Vermont portion of the Black-Ottauquecee and West Watersheds as well as the Winooski Watershed was initiated in summer 2020 with Discovery meetings projected to take place spring 2021.
- Review of previously completed 2D Rain on Grid Large Scale Automated Engineering (LSAE) has commence for the Winooski Watershed. The engineering results will be shown during the Winooski Watershed Discovery effort and used to map the approximate Zone As in future studies.
- 2D Rain on Grid Large Scale Automated Engineering (LSAE) has been initiated using updated LiDAR data to produce approximate Zone As for the Vermont portions of the Mettawee and Hudson-Hoosic Watersheds. The engineering results will be used to map the approximate Zone As in future studies.
- Hydrology and Field Survey have been completed for the Middle Connecticut Watershed with Hydraulics underway. The Preliminary FIRMs and FIS are projected to be issued to communities in fall 2022. This study has been funded through the Community Consultation Officer (CCO) meeting.
- A draft Discovery report for the Deerfield Watershed was sent to communities on December 1, 2020. The comment period on the report is January 15, 2021. Field Survey has been completed. Hydrology and Hydraulics for the watershed study is ongoing. This study has been funded through Preliminary FIRMs and FIS, which are projected to be issued to communities in spring 2023.
- Discovery activities for the Lamoille Watershed have been completed. Priority miles will be identified before Field Survey is initiated in spring 2021. This study has been funded through Hydrologic and Hydraulic analyses.

- Franklin/Orleans Counties - Enhanced hydrology is underway.
- Passumpsic Watershed - Surveying is underway.
- Otter Watershed - Surveying is underway.
- Mascoma Watershed - Virtual Discovery Meetings were held on May 26, 2020. Final reach selections were made. Surveying is underway.
- Waits Watershed- Virtual Discovery Meetings were held on May 26, 2020. Final reach selections were made. Surveying is underway.
- White Watershed- Virtual Discovery Meetings were held on May 26, 2020. Final reach selections were made. Surveying is underway.
- Lake Champlain Watershed - No priority reaches were selected. Floodplain mapping as redelineation only will proceed in conjunction with neighboring watersheds.
- Headwaters Connecticut – Virtual Discovery Meetings took place on November 17, 2020.
