Vermont Flood Disclosure Forms

As of January 1, 2025, real estate transactions in Vermont must provide information about the flood risk. 

For: 

Rentals: Prior to entering a rental agreement the landlord must disclose:

Manufactured home / Mobile home lot Leases must disclose:

Real Estate Sales: the seller must disclose:

  • whether any portion of the property is located in the FEMA SFHA.
  • whether any portion of the property is located in the FEMA moderate flood hazard area.
  • whether the property was subject to flooding or flood damage while seller possessed the property.
  • whether the seller maintains flood insurance on the property.
